Daniel D. So, MD

Daniel D. So, MDDr. So received a BA in biochemistry from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MD from the University of Virginia. He finished his residency in internal medicine from Georgetown University Medical Center and fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism from Georgetown University/National Institutes of Health.

Dr. So was a former medical director of Joslin Diabetes Center in Pittsburgh and chief of endocrine section at Forbes Regional Hospital in PA. He has been a guest speaker for many grand rounds and professional societies including ADA, and was a recipient of the Golden Apple Award for excellence in teaching for housestaff.

He is currently the director of endocrine section at Good Shepherd Hospital and partner of Suburban Endocrinology & Diabetes in IL. He has great interest in diabetes, thyroid and pituitary disorders. Dr. So is proficient in Spanish and Korean.
